The other day we went to the Beverly Connection, which is a sad outdoor mall across the street from the Beverly Center frequented by people who love discount shopping and people who can’t park without taking up multiple spots. We finished up our middle-of-the-workday buffet lunch at Souplantation (we so CRAAAAAZZZY!) and were on our way out when we spotted this insanity. In case you can’t tell what’s going on in this picture, allow me to explain!

Inside of what looks like a former bank or possibly a Beverly Connection Visitor’s Center and Coupon Dispensary, there is a row of plastic school chairs set up in front of a tiny television that’s playing episodes of ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Taped to the window are several signs advertising the fact that you can go inside and sit on a plastic school chair and watch a tiny television play episodes of ABC’s Once Upon a Time. The room is empty of both people and further explanation. 

SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

• Who set this up?
• Why is the TV so small?
• Why are the chairs in one long row instead of multiple short rows?
• Why is the row of chairs not centered in front of the TV?
• Why did they bother putting up those homemade signs but then NOT SAY why this is happening here, in the middle of the day, for no apparent reason?
• Seriously, did ABC set this up? 
• Or is it some Once Upon a Time superfan? 
• Do the parents of the little kid on Once Upon a Time own the Beverly Connection? This seems like something someone’s mom would do, maybe. 
• Maybe?
